The EMC Directive (2014/30/EU) is an EU Directive that applies to electromagnetic compatibility within Europe. It aims to avoid separate national requirements by restricting legislation to overall requirements for safety, health and the environment, or other requirements in the public interest, and equipment must therefore be CE marked before it can be placed on the market. With the CE mark, the manufacturer shows that the product meets all essential requirements both in the
EMC Directiveand in other relevant directives.
The test at the ”Statens provningsanstalt (RISE)”on the points tested, meets the limits for emissions and immunity established according to EMC Directive compatibility levels. The limit for maximum permitted emissions (EN 61000-6-3:2007/A1:2011) is lower than the compatibility level for a particular electromagnetic interference. In the same way, the limit for minimum permitted immunity (EN 61000-6-1:2007) is higher than the compatibility level for a particular interference.
